Sometimes I worry
those bubbles that rise up from deep oceans
are from ancient voices in serious deliberation
at the bottom of the sea
Neptune and Poseidon
might be extremely pissed and cranky
down there in heated discussions
over their next big move
and I'm concerned they may just decide
to raise up the world's great waters
and bathe the land in one last cleansing
so we can start all over again
but then again
that's just me.
